Thank you!  When I started Terra Firma the goal was simply to help people.  As a civil rights lawyer, I was called on to explain complex subjects to my clients so that they could make important decisions.  I also had extensive negotiation experience.  As an investor, I knew the real estate market.  Although I was never very good at decorating designer homes, my extensive rehabbing experience enabled me to estimate the costs of repairs or negotiate how to address deficiencies.  While my skill set was different than most real estate salespeople, I thought it could be useful in helping others.

Thanks to my agents and my clients, after a few years, my services were by referral only.  I had the pleasure of serving friends, friends of friends, my tenants, and even represented my grandchilden in the purchase of their first home.  It seems fitting that when the tenant of the property I managed, purchased the home from my client and friend, that was a fitting final sale in Maryland.

As I retire my brokerage, I’ll focus my energies elsewhere.    In fact, I’ve already started, I volunteer at the local animal shelter.   I continue my study of martial arts, studying various topics (next course, AI through Stanford’s Code in Place program), and my latest language is (easy Chinese through Duolingo), with English, Spanish, Arabic, and Japanese, I have I hopes of being fluent in some language, some day!

Again, thanks for everything!   Teresa
